Esther graduated from the Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy at the top of her class. Prior to that, she pursued training in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, which included education in Nutrition, Health Psychology, Hydrotherapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine, before reorienting her career in osteopathy. She is a member of the OFOP Osteopathic Association (Ontario Federation of Osteopathic Professionals) and NMOS.
She has also worked in the corporate world in clinical research and drug safety review.
With her diverse health background and experience, she truly believes in integrative medicine, and that a good collaboration with other health professionals (medical and alternative) contributes to an optimal and efficient treatment plan with long-lasting results.
Through osteopathy, she adopts a holistic and preventative approach by rebalancing the body, freeing up musculoskeletal, visceral and cranial restrictions/blockages felt, to bring back the body to its optimal functioning, stimulate its inner self-healing abilities, and relieve pain, stress and discomfort.
Osteopathy is a manual therapy using generally gentle but effective techniques. Some examples of techniques used are craniosacral therapy, visceral therapy, myofascial release.
Examples of conditions treated include: neck, pelvic, joint and back pain, concussions, headaches/migraines, carpal tunnel syndrome, postural imbalances, sciatica, digestive and menstrual issues, prenatal/postpartum care, fibromyalgia, scoliosis, common ailments of office workers, and sleep, stress and energy problems.
She is an avid learner and is passionate about holistic and natural health and wellness, preventative and integrative medicine, and sharing this knowledge with people. She also believes in mind-body medicine, and aims to help, support and empower people to take charge of their health and be proactive in their healing journey and personal well-being, so they can live their best lives.
She is fully bilingual, and also speaks basic Spanish and Polish.
